But then...

my friend rang me yesterday, from Spain, and she said;
This is so shit, but worse, you could live another 40 years in Pain and Misery, and for it to pass in the blink of an eye - this way you must cherish every moment you have from now on, and all the people in my life too, because life is so wonderful, and we mustn't waste a second of it.

The oncologist had very little to say;
Radiotherapy could be too risky (to my faculties), and I'm too weak for more/a different chemo, so won't be offering that either. I'm feeling quite calm in a very spiritual way, and I'm going to try EFT.

I can't believe how lucky I am, having so many wonderful people so close to me!

Your friend from Spain is so, so right. EFT is amazing - glad you're going to try it. And you've made your own luck by being a wonderful person yourself. You wouldn't have so many wonderful people so close to you if you were a useless prat, now, would you? ;-)

Zinnia's right, too (note to self, listen to Zinnia). You're the reason you're surrounded by wonderful people. Thank you for letting us know what happened today. I was wondering how you'd got on, I'm not sure I could have written anything after going through what you have these last few days - so berludy well done.

What a wise friend you have, she talks a lot of sense.

I'm not at all surprised that you're surrounded by so many thoughtful and wonderful people.

That Zinnia speaks sense:-) All those people are close to you because you're great. So they're the lucky ones:-)

Z tells it like it is!
We all take life for granted, we all waste time putting off. Take your friend's advice, grab each and every moment. My thoughts are with you x

EFT is amazing. We think we know it all and EFT proves we don't.

Zinnia and your friend from Spain, are very wise.

It's so hard to find the right words, Lisa. You have taken so many people with you on your journey and I, for one, feel privileged to be sharing the highs and lows through your blog and on FB. It's evident that you are surrounded by people who love you very much and it is clear that you are one of this world's special people whose life sprinkles richness and beauty in abundance wherever you go.

I'm praying for you and for the EFT to bring you amazing results. (I had to google it to find out what it was and I wish I'd known about it two years ago.)

Draw as much strength from people as you can and above all, don't lose your focus - keep strong for your family and they will keep strong for you.

Your friend in Spain is wise as is Z. You are an inspiration with your strength and your ability to share. Sending love, hugs and prayers.

I have been thinking about you so much in the last few days. Are you having any counselling? It seems to me that you (and your family) really need some help in dealing with all these issues. I do hope the NHS offers something that would be helpful -- if not, there must be somewhere you could go for this. Much love to you -- you are a very brave person.

I tried EFT to cure a fear of public speaking - I know it's not remotely the same thing but it worked brilliantly for me and I haven't looked back.
Take care of yourself. xxx

Oh Lisa, I feel such a bloody fool. I didn't know what EFT was and thought it was another type of medication that you could try. So my good luck honey message seems so inept, sorry.

I sent the card before I'd realised too so glad you liked it. The comment about the expression made me smile

Best of luck with the EFT x
